The easiest way to trim jar candle wicks is with the Candle Wick Snipper. Trimmed wicks contribute to cleaner, longer burning candles.
When first using wick snipper, light the wick and blow out the flame. Then open the wick snipper around the wick, line up the notch with the wick and snip, leaving 1/4 of the wick. For later use, the wick does not need to be lit before using.
